MEMBERSHIP: Getting Started with Rising Stars! in the Destination ImagiNation program.

Step 1:
The Rising Stars! program allows participants become engaged on two different levels. Adult Leaders should select and purchase which option suits their needs.   
  • Option 1:
    Teams may purchase a Rising Stars! team challenge membership which can be a part of the Destination ImagiNation team challenge program.  This purchase would permit them to non-competitively present and exhibit their solution at a Starry Showcase during a DI tournament. Team Challenges are valuable because they develop advanced thinking, interpersonal, and group processing skills. They also include side trips to tap into individual and collective interests.
  • Option 2:
    Teams may  purchase a Rising Stars! Program Kit which also includes a Rising Stars! Destination ImagiNation membership and current Team Challenge. Teams who do not wish  to attend a DI tournament, can celebrate their success in a Starry Showcase intended for friends and family.

Step 2:
Form a Rising Stars! DI team by selecting a group of 5-7 members of children ages 4-7 facilitated by a Team Manager or Adult Leader from a school, organization, club, church, etc.

Step 3:
Selected students participate in the Rising Stars! activities.

Step 4:
Teams can celebrate their participation in Rising Stars! with a Starry Showcase which permits recognition, praise and appraisal of what the participants have created.
